Two European giants this night takes the center stage at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for a place in the final s on July 13, 2025 against already qualified Chelsea of London who dismissed Fluiminense of Brazil 2-0. in the first semi finals .

Both clubs saw off two Bundesliga teams in the quarter finals together get to this stage .
After a major upset during the group stages , when they lost 0-1 against already eliminated Botafogo of Brazil they bounced back to football reckoning as newly crowned European champions ,they have been perfect in their three matches prior to this semi finals as well as overcoming their greatest challenge , beating German Champions Bayern Munich , with a 2-0 win ,despite being reduced to nine men to seal victory over Bayern Munich which was their third successive victory and with a clean sheet .

PSG humbled Spanish giants Athletico of Madrid 4-0 and will face another major opposition from the Spanish capital , Real Madrid . If they succeed to today it will be in recird that they eliminated two Spanish clubs in this year’s Club World Cup , though it may look a bit difficult this time with a different opposition who are well organized and know what it takes to play in the finals of every tournament ,

The Parisiens are no strangers to big wins as their pummelling of Inter Milan last month 5-0 in a champions league triumph before entering flight to USA is still very fresh in their memory and will like a repeat , as they say history has a way of repeating itself but this time it’s in the semi final s and not yet in the finals of another major competition..
And they will like to continue their phenomenal season which have seen them score 164 goals across all competitions .

A champions League winner with Barcelona ten years ago in 2015 , Luis Enrique ‘s PSG seemt to be the favourites in this semi finals within a decade .
Their opponents today are not new to this type of selcenario , having won the champions league most times more than any other Club in Europe , they can still remember with Nostalgia their coming from behind 2-0 to beat PSG in the 2022 Uefa champions League round of 16.

Borrussia Dortmund posed a huge challenge for Los Blanco’s , after leading 2-0 , then Dortmund struck back twice , then Mbappe s over head kick canceled out their leveler from Maximilien Beier.
Dean Huijisen s professional foul in the 18 yard box saw him sent off for a second bookable offence , then the resultant penalty by Sergio Guirrasy, bringing the final score to 3-2 .
This shows how vulnerable the Los Blanco’s rear guard is , with their flat footed defence line that can easily be accessed by eagle eyed attackers of their opponents .
PSG is likely to exploit this option tonight with their free flowing attack that dismissed Inter Milan in an uncontested champions league finals last month .

PSG will miss some their key players tonight from both injury worries as well as suspensions from previous matches .
Both William Pacho and Lucas Hernandez were sent out for red card offensces against Dortmund , so Lucas Beraldo takes the center stage in the heart of the defence .

A fully loaded bench for Xavi Alonso s Real Madrid , Kylian Mbappe, , Rodrigo, Brahim Diaz but their attention will be in Gonzalo Garcia whose football prowess lately and goal scoring ability have earned him four goals so far during this campaign and will be a major candidate for a golden boot , is a man toe arch for the Capital lads .

Predictions .
It promises to be a cracker tonight in New Jersey when the two formidable foes in European football trade tackles in the semi final s of this year’s Club World Cup .
PSG seems to be the favourites , based on their outstanding performance this year , 2025, and the fact that Real.Madrid is still a work in progress with new signing and a change in guard in management ,not minding their good start under Alonso .

We do not expect any clean sheet in today’s encounter as both sides are scoring wizards in European football. Los Blanco’s netted thirce against Dortmund , likely they will also give a good account of themselves today, but PSG s familiarity and unity so far will see them through against a Los Blanco’s side that is still blending with new recruits and a new management .
