After their Europa Cup campaign last Thursday where they got a draw at away in Lyon in France , 2-2 , Manchester United faced another uphill task in the domestic league when they face Newcastle United at the St James ‘ Park in Newcastle Upon Tyne . Almost permanently stock in the 13th position in the English Premsiehip League table , with no hope in sight to salvage an already , and almost precarious situation, while sixth placed , Magypies are gunning for a champions league spot and are lekly to get it than Man U. whose lot are more or less a closed deal of woes and point of no return .

The Magypies , already comfortable with their position in the league table after four straight wins in all competitions , including a narrow 1-0 win against West Ham as well as their English Football League finals win against Liverpool ,2-1 lately , which ended their 70 year waiting for a domestic trophy .

Newcastle United have tow games in hand and Man United game is one of them , before Crystal Palace on Wednesday , definitkey they are more relaxed than Man United with a champions league spot almost in their kitty but Man United will seat back and try to frustrate the Magypies , their only hope of playing in Europe next season is the Europa games against Lyon this coming Thursday in the reverse fixture in UK.

Man United is still one of the big clubs in the world but definitely not one of the best , as they are million miles away from that .
It’s been a very bad year for them just like Tottenham but they have to go through it and make out something out of nothing but not in the domestic league as that have slipped off their hands this season.

Respite can only come to Man United u less they win their remaining seven league matches but that will be a bit impossible , dicje they have not won any back to back games this season making it one of the worst year s in the premeishiop league so far .
Man United right now is only playing for a position with their down and stuck in the 13th position , winnig 10 matches , drawing 8 and losing 13 games out of their 31 league games and with their worst finish in the premeishiop so far .

If they win today , that will be their first win at St James’ Park in Newcastle since October 2020.

Predictions .
All hands will be on deck for the two formids le foes as the stakes are too high for either of them to lose .
The Magypies will concentrate in securing another win , making it five wins in a row on their road to secure another champions league spot next season , while Man United will redirect their radar , if they have any to get over Newcastle at least for formality sake and to maintain a good position in the league , while they focus again in winning their second leg reverse fixture at Old Trafford this Thursday against French side Lyon .
Precious results do not really count in today’s game between this two side s , just like their last derby match against Man City , where they held their City rivals to a goalless draw despite outcomes of previous encounters .
The match can go either way .
