Hoping to gain a spot in the champions league next season as well as maintain the status quo ante in the English Premsiehip League , of a fourth place at the end of the season , Chelsea welcmes relegation bound Ipswish Town , AKA the Tractor Boys at the Bridge , Sunday .

After a sweet victory 3-0 on Thursday against Legia Warsaw in the Conference League , they will file out again, against Ipswish to stamp their authority and an automatic 4 th spot in the English Premsiehip League this season , while their opponents , Ipswish Town have enjoyed a full week long training ahead of today’s game .

The blues who are the favourites to lift the Conference League trophy this season , humbled at home in far away Poland , Legia Warsaw , 3-0 in a commanding victory , despite the hostile atmosphere in Warsaw .
At the resumption of hostilities in the second half after a baren draw in the first stanza , Chelsea took a good command of the game through the sheer effort and brilliance of Trigue George and Noni Madueke who scored a brace to make the score line 3-0 ., hence making the reverse fixture in London a mere fornality at least in paper .

After two decades of absence from the top flight English Premsiehip league , Ipswish Town are almost in the championship league once again after a lack lustre performance where they could not give a good account of themselves so far , with so many damaging defeats in the EPL , most especially a damaging defeat to relegation rivals lately .
Though the Tractors have won more at away out of Portman Road, their home base in East Anglia , where they collected three points from Europe chasing Bouremouth 2-1 , this April . ,

In today s encounter , Ioswich appears to be the weeping boys , after a 7-0 bashing in the hands of the Blues earlier in the FA Cup in January 2011.
We don’t think they will be a formidable opposition to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge .

Predictions .

Chelsea desperate and eager to secure the champions league sport next season , will not waste time to dismiss The Tractors who already have in the back of their minds how to play in next season s Nation Wide League after a lack lustre performance , barely a season in the English Premsiehip League .
It is likely going to be a match full of goals , if Ipswich will score , it will only be to save their face just for today’s match , as no number of goals will salvage their already precarious situation .
