My father , my best friend in the family Sir S I Anaba , passes On at the age of 102 years .

With gratitude to God for a life well spent , my father and best friend in the family , Sir Samuel Ihiemere Anaba , AKA , S I as he is fondly called by friends and family members passed on to the Lord on Sunday morning , at 8.00 am , August 21st in the year of our lord ,, 2022.

A Retired teacher and Headmaster

A Colossus , a hard worker, he hadly send anyone to a message by this I mean , Nnaa is the thyoe of father even at his old age of 100+ likes to polish his shoes , iron his clothes by himself , this is a man who has numorus children and grand children , most times if am at home I will tell him to give it to me to do it for him . His 7 children are all graduates of various universities in Nigeria

An activist in his own right , who fought
many battles while alive and won all of them. Nnaa always stood his ground not minding whose ox is gored and in the right direction too, hence his frequent and positive runnning battles with mere mortals like you and me .

I will miss you my father Sir Samuel Saul Ihiemere Anaba ,a Knight of the Anglican Church of Nigeria , Sir S I Anaba my best friend and father who always supports me in all spheres of influence , , the family will miss you, friends and relations , members of the Anglican Communion Church of Nigeria in Abia state and beyond members of the Bible Society of Nigeria as well ., your children and grand children and others who have gone through your tuttelege as a teacher , adminstrator and in the Christiandom in Nigeria .

A lover of knowledge and reading as well, when I was in primary One at Ukpakiri Primary School when he was the Headmaster of the primary school then, you introduced me to the reading of a British tabliod called , The Readers Digest as well as buying newspapers too for me to read at a tender age of seven years , which you bought daily and weekely respectively , this influenced my love for reading and writing and led me to read Journalism and History , I can still remember vividly you told me to be watching the pictures in the magazine from there I know the true story as ar that time it was bizzare for me not, knowing you were building my carreer and future , , which stands out to be the Hallmark of modern day journalism today , where we say , “a good picture is what more than a thousand words , you were far far ahead of your time.

You also discouraged us your seven children from seeking for employment with school certificate then which was in vogue in Nigeria . From your various oral traditional history you gave me , you once told me that you started Standrad One school , present day Primary School at the age of 21 due to lack of sponsorship as a result unhealthy politics in the family then. but you rose up to the challenges and was given double promotion from standard 1 to 3, as well as from standard 3 to Standard 6, due to your academic prowess , invaribly my father spent only two years in a six year course , that should go into the present , “Guineas Book of Record ” A Solid Personal Achievement for the Colossus , Sir Samuel Ihiemere Anaba , AKA S I

You were too good to all and lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation

God knows best as death is a necessary end that will come when it will come .

Adeiu , Nnaa as we used to call you when you were alive .

Good Night , Shalom Habeya Good Bye Friend and my father , Till we meet again to part No More .
