*THE BEST STRATEGY TO PREVENT ELECTION RIGGING ON SAT 18TH MARCH*

1. Come out en mass on election day, whether you are voting or not. Do not say, “I don’t have any candidate or I don’t know who to vote for”. By staying at home for any reason, you are empowering election riggers who are intimidated by crowds.In a large crowd,.it is always easier to overpower thugs with overwhelming numbers. This is the best strategy.

2. Ensure that LP has a party AGENT. Many of the results being currently collated reveals that where there is no party agent, the party does badly in terms of votes. When going, pls prepare anything to motivate party agent ranging from food, drinks, recharge cards etc. Where there is a party agent, other obidients should become mobilizer or canvassers for the LP family.

3. Ensure that before the election commences, the Presiding officer shows the BVAS score to be 000.0. Also inspect *RESULT BOOKLETS* and ensure it tallies with the designation of governor and HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY for that constituency as well as the unit and ward. If you enter the results in a form that belongs to another polling unit without properly writing the name of that PU, it can pose a problem during collation. Inform the SPO on time if the result booklet name does not tally with the PU name and number.

4. Ensure that the forms are properly filled. Write out the results on a rough sheet and ensure it is okay before transferring to the main result sheet. *ALTERATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS* on result sheets raises a lot of suspicion of rigging. Leave *NO BLANK SPACE* by crossing out. Once you have crossed out blank spaces, it becomes impossible to smuggle in numbers. We have seen how LP *101* became *01* and how our opponents vote went from *7* to *107*. All because the blank spaces were not cancelled out.

After writing it out neatly, a COPY of the RESULT MUST be pasted at the PU so that anybody can snap it and post on our various WhatsApp groups.

Ensure the PO and INEC staff are accompanied to the ward where WARD COLLATION is done or to the Local government as the case may be.

LP needs Governors and House of Assembly members because PO will reclaim his INEC engineered stolen mandate.
