Ogechi Ngwuta Enrica who hails from Ebonyi state in the former eastern region of Nigeria , grew up like any other kid with her parents, after completing hee secondary education with a School Certificate results from Abakiliki High School in Ebony (Presco) decided to go into the barbing profession , she has worked as a Nanny before then
She took the personal initiative to carve a niche for herself in the fast growing entrepreneurial industry in Nigeria to become a house hold name in the Nigerian Hair and Fashion industry , which has been dominated by men over years , under the tutelege of Good news Esiting who taught her the art of Barbing men s hair in Lekki /Ajah area.

She took the initiative to learn the art of barbing men ‘s hair within a period of six months and now owes her own unisex barbing shop , known as Erica Barbing and Hair Dressing Salon , which is located opposite Kingdom Hall Bustop , along Lekki /Epe Expressway in Ibeju Lekki area of the Island in Lagos State.

Just like any other mere mortal , she also faced some initial challenges while trying to learn her present trade , which includes but not limited to finance to set up her own barbing Salon , while waiting for that she took the option of going to work in a barbing Salon where she can save money to open her own shop which she did and saved about 800 thousand naira only , to start hers .

According to her , barbing and dreadlocks has been her main source of income for the past two years now . She went further to say that she enjoys the business of Barbing and Hair Dressing , as it lands food on her table .

However in the same vein, , Ogechi combines her business , with academics , as she is a second year , Online student of Computer Programming , which she uses her earnings from the business to pay her school fees from savings from her chosen profession .

Finally ,her advsie to fellow young people especially women like her , who wants to take up the barbing profession as an entreprenuer skills is , that hard work pays , as far as you are determined and focused , devoid of the usual and familier distractions in our present day lives in Nigeria .
