As the Gunners look forward to cement their second position in the English Premsiehip League this evening at the Emirates stadium when they welcome the Magypies , Newcastle United , after a very horrible and trophyiless season which has spanned for the past three season , when they came second back to back in the English Prepersihip League , as well as losing out in the champions league ,after a near perfect performance against heavy weights , Real Madrid , the Magypies will also have it in mind to hold on to their present third position or improve upon it by beating the Gunners at the Emirates to further assure themselves of a champions league spot next season

After a disappointing 2-2 draw against Liverpool , when they came from behind to salvage their already bad position against the winners of the EPL this season and a winless five games back to back in all competitions leaves much to be desired in their quest for next seasons championship which they are yet to be assured of a champions league spot despite their current second position in the EPL, when their faith may be determined from other teams result .

Having earlier been condemned to three straight defeats this season in the EFL Cup as well a crushing Premsiehip loss at St James Park , by EFL Cup holders Newcastle , if the Magypies winning streak against the Gunners continues this evening at the Emirates , the Magypies will be assured of an automatic second position ahead of the Gunners in the EPL as well as their comprehensive beating of the Blues 2-0 in their last visit at St James Park which further cemented their place , enhancing further their champions League spot next season.
The Magypies who are firing from all cylinders with their scoring sequence in 11 matches , though road trips have not been in their Favour this stanza with only two win out of six away matches since the 2017// 2018 season, have they lost their final game in the EPL.
Likely a new page in English Football season is about take place if they over come the Gunners at the Emirates , making it four times they have beaten Arsenal in a season , that will be a huge history in English Football , but Gunners 12 times unbeaten home run against the Magypies is scary to football pundits as well as the Newcastle fans .

Arsenal s injury concerns as well as suspensions from their last game against Liverpool may likely pose a massive problem for them this evening with most of their regulars like Declan Rice Kai Harvertz and Leandro Trossard , who took part in Wednesday training are still being watched by Arteta , who has not ruled out their starting shirt this evening , but permanent hit injury list of Gabriel Jesus , Jorgihno , Gabriel Mahahaes will miss out in today’s hostilties
Same goes with Newcastle who hhabe ruled out the appearance of Sven Botnan who was withdrawn in their win against Chelsea , Eddie Howe have already confirmed the absence of the Dutchman in today’s proceeding .

With their injury setbacks , Arteta men’s cannot be considered favourites in this encounter , despite their second position in the EpL ,
The Magypies too are not conrtfortable too with so many defensive absentees as well as their underwhelming road trip record of losses .
